WHO WE ARE
• Chartered in April 2011, following the 2011 Tōhoku earthquake and tsunami
• A community service club based in San Jose’s Historic Japantown
• Part of Lions Clubs International, the world’s largest service club network
• Inspired by Japanese heritage, with a logo based on The Great Wave off Kanagawa
• Committed to strengthening and preserving the cultural significance of Japantown
• Dedicated to building a strong, connected local community
WHAT WE DO
• Support local Japantown community programs and cultural initiatives
• Volunteer in projects focused on:
– Youth development
– Senior support
– Veterans assistance
– Vision and hearing care
• Partner with local organizations and community agencies
• Participate in national and international service efforts
• Organize events, fundraisers, and outreach programs
• Provide hands-on service where help is needed most
• Promote community connection, service, and leadership

•We meet in person on the 2nd Tues at the IMB
