The San Jose Japantown Lions Club hosted its annual Island Brunch on October 12, 2025. Guests enjoyed a spread of island favorites like Spam with eggs and rice, loco moco, and mac salad, along with fresh
coconut water and Dole pineapple ice cream to round out the tropical theme.

The brunch took place in the backyard of the Issei Memorial Building, where Margie Muzik provided live Hawaiian music. This year, a portion of the net proceeds supported Yu-Ai Kai Senior Center.

At the SJ Japantown Lions Club, “We Serve” is more than a motto it reflects our commitment to the community and to Yu-Ai Kai. We appreciate everyone who joined us and look forward to doing it again
